Every programme builds practical skills, entrepreneurial ability, and employable competence, with opportunities for Workplace Experience Learning and pathways to higher education and professional certification.

Students across all programmes have opportunities for Workplace Experience Learning (WEL), gaining real industry exposure alongside their classroom and workshop training.

Entry Requirements

Admission is open to candidates who have completed Junior High School and possess BECE results between aggregate 6 and 30, with passes in English Language and Mathematics, and an interest in acquiring technical and vocational skills. Mature applicants (proficiency pathway) are also welcome.

BECE graduates Applicants must be BECE graduates. Specific aggregate cut-offs, subject requirements, minimum age, and boarding or day requirements will be published once confirmed by the Institute.

Certification & Progression

Specific CTVET/Ghana TVET Service certification labels per programme are to be confirmed with the Institute. On Ghana’s National TVET Qualification Framework (NTVETQF), technical certificate holders have a clear progression pathway to further study.
